Our entire team is dedicated to providing best in education and care for each child. We provide high quality care, ensuring the safety and encouraging the health and development of the children in our care in a safe, nurturing environment where they can grow, explore, play and relax with other children and adults in an atmosphere of patience, sensitivity and tolerance. We see the link between home and child care as a vital one and consequently value parental involvement. Our Open-Door policy ensures that at any time, parents can speak to staff and management about their child, raise any questions or concerns, and of course provide input into their child’s time at Kids @ Kindy.

By providing a loving, healthy, stable and secure environment, we encourage your child to develop to their fullest potential. Your child will learn and develop in a variety of ways. Children learn by new experiences, imagination, exploration, repetition, and adult input. Most importantly, children learn and develop individually and at their own pace. Other contributing factors to development are being able to trust and therefore develop socially.

We program for the needs of each individual child. In each group of children there is a tertiary-qualified educator/carer who is constantly observing the physical, social and cognitive aspects of each child’s development. We foster relationships with parents based on open communication and mutual respect. Through this, we listen carefully to parents regarding their child’s particular needs or the general care their child is receiving at Kids @ Kindy.

Programs are developed and evaluated on an ongoing basis to maintain a constant environment for learning. The programs are developmentally based, nourished by play, fostering emotional health and building satisfying social relationships. A wide range of sources are used to plan children’s learning; children’s own interests, their family’s background and experiences, cultural events and diversity, children’s stories as well as educator’s own intentional teaching. We believe learning requires hands-on experiences, otherwise known as “PLAY”! Play nourishes every aspect of children’s development – it forms the foundation of intellectual, social, physical, and emotional skills necessary for success in school and in life.
